I chose Learn Spanish Word Power 101 because it is a free resource and I'm interested in increasing my Spanish vocabulary. I would like to learn Spanish so that I can communicate with the parents at our school. The ebook groups vocabulary words together and provides audio support with English and Spanish translations. It teaches you the most frequently used words and phrases associated with them so you can converse and make understanding Spanish easier. I selected Children Action Comics Special for my language arts class. I think it would be a fun way to learn and work on writing skills using quotation marks and proper punctuation. Students can browse through cartoons and come up with appropriate comments that the characters would say. I really like this idea because it will encourage kids to apply punctuation skills while giving them the freedom to loosen up on their grammar. Creative stories will be a lot more fun to write with this ebook.
